Meet the Doctors

Dr. MJ Gonstead is an Eau Claire native. She grew up on the west side of town with 8 brothers and sisters, many of whom still live in the area. She resides in Eau Claire with her husband. A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.; she has been in practice since 1986, treating patients of many ages with many problems using a variety of adjusting techniques and individualized care based on their personal needs. Dr. Gonstead stresses not only the correction of subluxation, but prevention of spinal problems and assists her patients in learning how to modify their lifestyle in order to maintain optimal health. • Mondays 8:00-1:00, 3:00-5:30
• Tuesdays 9:00-1:00, 3:00-4:30
• Thursdays 8:00-1:00, 3:00-5:30

Dr. Melissa Stangl is proud to serve the Chippewa Valley community with personalized chiropractic care and is dedicated to each patients’ individual health and quality of life.  She grew up in Eau Claire, WI and graduated from North High School in 2000 as a valedictorian. In 2004, Dr. Stangl received her bachelors degree in human biology from Minnesota State University – Mankato where she also played fast pitch college softball.  She then went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic-Davenport, IA in 2007.  Dr. Stangl has training in the Webster’s technique for pregnant moms and breech babies through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA).    She enjoys family time, cheering on her kids at soccer games, coaching youth softball, leading Girl Scout troops, and she is a proud supporter of UWEC fastpitch softball as a fan and through chiropractic!  

Dr. Melissa sees patients on the following days:

• Mondays 8:30-1:00, 3:00-5:30
• Wednesdays 8:30-1:00, 3:00-5:30
• Thursdays 12:30-5:30
• Fridays 8:30-12:00

Dr. Lisa Arkowski is from Durand, WI.  She received her bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, and her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN.  She has had additional training in numerous chiropractic techniques and is certified by the state board in Nutritional Counseling. Dr. Arkowski enjoys working with people of all ages.  She believes each patient is an individual with a unique set of needs.  Whether a patient is looking for relief from pain, or wanting a fuller, more active lifestyle, she works to help her patients meet their personalized goals. Dr. Arkowski lives in Eau Claire with her husband, their two sons and their black lab.

• Tuesdays 8:30-4:30
• Wednesdays 8:30-5:30
• Fridays 8:30-3:00

Dr. Jennifer Gonstead is from Eau Claire, WI.  She received her bachelor degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2011 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.  She has successfully completed a three year 300+ hour post graduate diplomate program in chiropractic prenatal and pregnancy care that included specialized training in the Webster’s Technique and cranial work earning her the distinction of being a Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics. Dr. Jennifer lives in Eau Claire and enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children.   She is excited to be serving families in the Chippewa Valley and looks forward to providing you with exceptional chiropractic care.
